Jessica Blake, CPDT studied Biology at Portland State University where she received her B.S. She started training dogs at the Oakland SPCA where she evaluated their temperaments and taught them general obedience. She received her certification as a Behavior and Training Specialist from Triple Crown Academy for Dog Trainers outside of Austin, Texas. Jessica is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She is certified in Animal First Aid by the American Red Cross.
Bobbie Lyons- After finding out one of her dogs had structural issues and suffered an injury, Bobbie Lyons immersed herself in learning about core strengthening and body awareness for dogs. While on this path of discovery, she learned that many dogs have little to no hind end awareness, and that many owners do not understand the importance of proper conditioning, strengthening and stretching. Over the last 2 hears, blessed with the desire and ability to pass her knowledge and skill on to others, Bobbie has taught competitors in Agility, Flyball, Dock Diving, Schutzhund, French Ring, Obedience, Rally, Disc Dog, and Freestyle, as well as people who just want fun things to do with their dog. She has worked with many different dog breeds, and with a range of physical challenges such as knee injuries, hip injuries, luxating patellas, hip dysplasia, and shoulder injuries. Bobbie Lyons has trained in agility for 6 years with her three rescued Border Collies and enjoys helping others realized the full potential of their dog whether it be to just have fun with them or to eventually complete. After training rescue dogs with reactive issues and her own reactive dogs she understands the importance of educating people on how to best manage their reactive dogs while strengthening trust between dog and handler.
Leslie Capik- Has been involved in Agility since the early 1980's on the East Coast. She started with her boxer Emma and boder collie cross Fred and learned to love the sport! She is familiar with USDAA, AKC and NADAC sanctioning bodies and CPE. She has studied extensively under the top level dog athletes and their owners. Using the clicker methodology she has been teaching basic Agility skills for 15 years. Her number one goal is teach the student and their dogs to have fun together as a team! Her current love is herding, she is owned by 2 border collies, 2 salukis, 1 boston terrier, 1 bull mastiff, 1 whippet, and 1 great big lovable mutt.
Lynn McAward-is owned by a 7 year old yellow labrador retriever, together they have titled in Flyball and tracking. She has attended Gail Fischer's "All Dog's Gym" academy earning a certification in Instructor Training, and the 2007 Clicker Expo. A member of APDT and a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She is certified in Animal First Aid by the American Red Cross.
